The Ballad of Wallis Island follows Charles (Tim Key), an eccentric lottery winner who lives alone on a remote island and dreams of getting his favourite musicians, Mortimer-McGwyer (Carey Mulligan and Tom Basden) back together. His fantasy quickly turns into reality when the bandmates and former lovers accept his invitation to play a private show at his home on Wallis Island. Old tensions resurface as Charles tries desperately to salvage his dream gig.

Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere

doors open at 7pmAn American biographical musical drama film starring Jeremy Allen White as Bruce Springsteen. Written and directed by Scott Cooper, and based on the 2023 book Deliver Me from Nowhere by Warren Zanes, with elements from Springsteen's autobiography Born to Run.
The film chronicles Springsteen's personal and professional struggles during the conception of his 1982 album Nebraska. The film also stars Jeremy Strong, Paul Walter Hauser, Stephen Graham, and Odessa Young.

The Roses

doors open at 7pmStarring Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman as a successful couple whose seemingly picture-perfect marriage begins falling apart. A tinderbox of competition and resentments are revealed when the husband's professional dreams come crashing down.
A satirical black comedy film directed by Jay Roach from a screenplay by Tony McNamara. It is based on the 1981 novel The War of the Roses by Warren Adler, and a reimagining of the 1989 film.
